Natural Bridge was exactly the same as my memory from the previous visit.
Serene and beautiful.
I was passing the border between NSW and Queensland when we stopped the car.
From where I was standing I could grab an amazingly beautiful scene.
Cows were grazing in the greenest grass of the undulating vast peaceful fields.
Trees were blooming the most beautiful red flowers.
Half of the flowers had almost fallen to the ground but it was rather pretty than sad yet.
On a warm and bright sunny day you could not be so melancholy easily.
We did lots of short tracks before but this time we finally did the 16k Warrie Circuit Track covered all the backstage of Springbrook National Park.
It was a perfectly good hike for summer time.
Almost all parts of the track were shady and the length of the hiking was good enough.
You came across a numerous water falls.
Not many people tried this track so we were able to enjoy it immersed in cool bush ambience canopied by tall and luscious trees.
One unpredictable problem was we could not have lunch at a cafe which was only one place opened that day inside the National Park at the end of a long hike.
I did not prepare lunch that day because we liked their coffee so much the other day.
We were looking forward to their yummy food.
Too many people already occupied waiting for their meals to be served.
Far too beyond their capacity.
It’s much too late for my lunch time too.
However we had to leave for home.
We saw a small cafe open half an hour’s drive on the quiet countryside road.
We sat outside under the boiling hot temperature.
Coffee mugs were huge and too hot to drink.
I imagined having a decent meal inside air conditioned indoor today after a hike.
Instead I was struggling with heat and sweat.
But Eddie said he sometimes liked it very much when we ended up at a place far from fancy or comfy accidentally in a country side.
Just like an unexpected gift.
Even though coffee tasted mediocre and there were not many options to choose from the place.
I now remember that hot afternoon clearly because of him.
He made actually it meaningful.
