Last day at Tasmania we couldn't miss a little bit of sightseeing along with a little bit of physical activity.
We rent a car at downtown Hobart, drove an hour to arrive at the visitor center of this National Park.
Eddie said Russell Falls was one of the famous tourist attractions.
It didn't say it's a rainforest but many parts of it showed slightly similar traits to rainforests around northern NSW and Queensland.
We paid for national park entrance fee valid for 60 days when we did Overland Track.
I did not keep the receipt of course!!!
But I still explained it to the National park staff and she accepted it with my emails and photos.
We walked the circut track appreciating many falls on the way.
It was a relaxing easy walk without a heavy backpack compared to a big hike we did a few days ago.
We headed back home leisurely but last minute Eddie turned the steering wheel to Botanic Gardens finally.(We didn't make it in 2015.)
It was a late afternoon around 5pm when the sun was still very warm and splendid.
Still a lot of people were enjoying it there.
Eddie wanted to see Japanese Garden which was far end of the Garden from the entrance.
So we looked almost every parts on the way there and on the way back.
Japanese garden was really beautiful.
Everything was minimized in complete and delicate details.
I was very impressed with its beauty.
