Last Thursday we went walking casually in Blue Gum Track after work.
We missed our usual walks a couple of weeks due to bad weather.
Two days before rain stopped completely and weather was so good and warm that we already forgot about the lengthy and toerrential rain.
We found the whole track was suffering from serious aftermath...rain ruined the track terribly and still it was very much waterlogged.
Two parts of it were totally blocked with fallen big trees and creek was screaming with dangerously high and speedy flow.
On top of that we brought our friends leeches with us back home after walk.
So we decided to make a little change over the weekends.
We went to a track in Bobbin Head last Saturday in a long time.
It’s not far from home and our choice of track was not too long and not too short and
we knew not many people liked this uphill track either.
It was perfect for us, we enjoyed our own company.
Luckily we could use a National Park pass Suze purchased when she did her car’s rego recently.
To be totally honest I was in fact sick and tired(????) of going to the same track over and over again more than one year.
I desperately needed a change.
Before the pay booth I saw millions of cars parked.
It seemed like everyone came out to enjoy hiking on this glorious sunny day.
They must have gone to other tracks in Bobbin Head without paying the entry fees to the National Park.
But inside the park it was still very quiet except some people who were enjoying their peaceful and serene breakfast in the cafe near the trailhead.
I was so happy that we could still smell cool morning air with warming bright sun rays under the blue sky.
It was a really enjoyable morning walk.
