We were supposed to be in Cairns on the first week of August if nothing happened.
With lockdown orders on since end of June two separate our holiday plans were all cancelled.
We cancelled our leaves and went back to work for the first part but we decided to take a break from work for the second part.
It was actually a decent break for 9 days including weekends.
Just three of us, we mainly did bush walks and had relaxing times at home.
One night Suze and I sat together and did painting following a tutorial on line and voila!
Above is a masterpiece Suze produced.
We went bush walking almost everyday and I cooked yummy food as much as possible.
I was glad that we were able to enjoy our own company and tranquility by doing what we liked.
MONDAY
We woke early to go see sun rise in Brooklyn and we did a long hike around Jerusalem Bay later.
TUESDAY
We went to Bobbin Head midday and enjoyed our picnic for lunch with walks afterwards.
WEDNESDAY
We went to Crosslands where we used to go a lot of times before.
FRIDAY
We went to Berowra Waters where we noticed a lot of wild flowers blooming as spring was near.
SATURDAY
We went to Fiddletown for the first time by trying to go for a walk only inside our LGA.
Track was nice and easy and it was a hidden gem in fact.
