1. Lake Weyba and Castaway Beach

I had a good sleep but I heard some noise during my sleep and I thought it was raining.

I got confused with wind and rain, come to think of it.
I was simply happy to find another fine a day.

Before we left he revealed his plan to go to Lake Weyba putting the address in the car GPS and he added it would be 14 minutes away. 14 minutes sounded quite close but in actual fact I realized driving for 14 minutes could be way longer.

There were so many cars traveling so fast in that early monring. Funny I was on holiday but I naturally didn’t think they lived their daily lives!!!

In Noosa Heads School Zone speed limits started from 7am which was an hour earlier than in NSW.

So I dared to conject Queenslanders started a day earlier. We arrived in an eerie and subdued residential area which was facing a huge lake at the end. It was serene with peacefully flying small birds.

Definitely it had different vibes from beaches.

Especially you didn’t have much to do around lakes except standing and waiting for the sun rise.

You could walk along on the sands at the beach knowing you couldn’t miss the moment even if you kept on walking.

We rememberd that one of Eddie’s colleagues told him Castaway Beach in Noosa Heads being the best.
We decided to drop by on the way.

By the time we got there the sun was already very much mature ,there was no more mysterious feeling lingering around.

A young boy was running with only shorts on and his hyperactive dog was crazily running after him.

As if to be proven as the best beach in Noosa Heads several people were out walking dogs ,even some were swimming, enjoying invigoraing fresh morning winds under the sun.

I suddenly started feeling very hungry as my breakfast time was already past long before.

2. Mt Tinbeerwah Lookout

We had a quiet day at the accommodation during day time.

Eddie initially wanted to see the sun set enjoying 360 degrees panoramic views at the Mt Tinbeerwah Lookout.

It took 20 minutes or so to get there. First it looked like a deserted place to me.

Car park was very close to the top and a short walk brought us to the destination soon. We could see mountains after mountains far away including Glass House Mountains ranges. My emotions easily teamed with anxiety and fear as well as sadness deep down.
Especially in an unfamiliar place. I told Eddie that it was scary as no one there and I was also worried about Eddie’s bad eye sights if we stayed longer until sunset and had to drive back in the dark.

We walked down to car park only to find incoming numerous cars packed with excited young people obviously to see the brilliant sun set there.

I laughed at my silliness but still asked him to go back before too dark.
Eddie must have regarded me silly for being overly worried but ended up listening to me .

3. Two Sunsets

Gympie Terrace

Main Beach

Main Beach 2

Noosa Town

We swung by to see sun set at Gympie Terrace once more as we couldn’t forget the sunset we saw last time.

We soon left for Main Beach on the way home.
We were able to park in downtown easily and leisurely walked straight to Main Beach.

People were everywhere.
Enjoying food and socializing inside restaurants.
Enjoying being in the touristic moods taking photos of themselves with beautifully burning sunset in the background.

Suddenly it reminded me of buzzing tourists and their lively environments in Waikiki in Hawaii.

Sunset in Main Beach that day was mesmerising.
I loved so much this dreamy or lazily deepend colours at the end of the day.
