Our 31st wedding anniversary was on last Wednesday.
My birthday was on last Friday.
Also Father’s day this year was on last Sunday.
We have almost always had no problem finding good reasons for celebrating to be away from home, away from daily routines but obviously there were good and enough reasons for this short weekend holiday.
Weather was not perfect but even so our time there turned out almost perfect.
First night sunset from our Air B and B home in small town called Wallerawang was perfect.
My birthday customised cake Suze ordered for me was perfect with a bottle of complimentary champagne Air B and B host offered.
We enjoyed it over the talks in relaxed manners in the evening.
Our small and humble Air B and B home was nearly perfect.
It was cosy and warm.
On my birthday we hiked Glow Worm Tunnel trail which we really enjoyed and we saw lots of kangaroos on the way.
I felt this kind of drizzling rainy day was actually better for walks.
We had good raining gears including hiking boots.
We were happy about simply having a chance of walking but especially these pretty violet wild flowers were impressive.

There were actually a lot of little kids with their enthusiastic parents around the tunnel, luckily not many people were doing hikes like us.
There was only one tiny weird shop where we bought dozens of water bottles for hike around our stay in Wallerawang but we didn’t need to do grocercery shopping during our stay.
Eddie cooked Kimchi soup first night and I made kimbup and beef steak.
we enjoyed our own comfort food during our stay which was perfect for us too.
Such a nice getaway!!!!!
