I spent a fabulous Christmas break at a luxury air B and B with my lovely family.
It was situated in a vineyard where a troop of kangaroo families resided.
As if we invaded their territory…
It was a haven for them to drink water from a lake
inside the property and of course they could eat plenty of grass as well as they enjoyed much of the space.
We relaxed in there most of the time soaking in the
beautiful nature.
Eddie woke up early to wander around in the vineyard with his camera every morning.
It was covered with mysterious fog in the early morning before the strong sun came out. On Christmas morning we opened our gifts arranged under the small Christmas tree the night before.
For Christmas lunch I made different kinds of finger food, canapes and a big bowl of prawn salad for a change this year.
It was yum and quite photogenic actually. We tried a few different things too.
We rented electric bikes one morning to ride half day to drop by at a winery for one wine tasting and ate pizza for lunch too.
It was one of the scorching hot days and it was exhilarating to ride a bike covering quite a distance with scary cars passing by.
We played a board game once outside sitting in rhe lanai and we noticed all sorts of birds were doing some sort of crazy ceremonies at the end of a day.
A small group of birds suddenly appeared and then next moment they were flying into all different ways as if they lost sense of direction again and again in front of us.
It was one of the best Christmas breaks.
