Sunday morning my day started later than usual.
It was overcast outside.
At least we had a weather forecast that we wouldn't have rain through the day.
I was not really motivated to do a hike.
Neither was Suze.
It was that kind of day for both of us.
But somehow we ended up walking a part of the Great North Walk from Cowan to Brooklyn.
We did this trek a great number of times in both directions over the years.
Now this trek is being used for our light training whenever we don't feel like doing
a big hike.
The breeze was cool and fresh and it was drizzling on and off.
The emerald blue sparkling sea was shockingly beautiful in Jerusalem Bay and at the harbour
of Brooklyn most of sunny days.
But the sky was low and the scene was withdrawn painted in grey that day.
We started walking a little after 11am and arrived at Brooklyn just before 3pm.
We caught a 3:30 train back to Cowan where we parked our car.
Just after we got out of the trek we came across a small café hidden in the small alley
between old buildings before the big crowded open pub at the corner of main street.
We decided to drop by there.
Eddie had a coffee, I had a tea and Suze of course had a freshly squeezed juice.
I found a small cosy corner at the back of the café on the way to the bathroom
like below.
It was a nice hike which enabled to make us refreshed and energized as always.
