We planned this 3 week's trip 6 months ago.
I accepted his idea straightaway when Eddie first told me that.
He was hesitant a little because of the cost tho.
But I encouraged us with the most plausible reason and cause.
We have to enjoy the present moment by doing what we like
and it's the time for us.
We applied for leaves and Suze wanted to join us.
After our annual leaves sorted Eddie spent a couple of weeks trying to make a suitable itineray and then
we booked flights and accomodations based on his draft outlines.
I realize as always when you plan and draw a crude outline for a trip it' the time when you get
genuinely excited dreaming about your trip 100 percent without any concern or anything.
I couldn't forget when we booked and printed all the confirmation letters out and I made it a physical file
named Japan and Korea 2018.
But that was not the end.
After that he had to spend a long time making a concrete detailed proper itineray again.
As the time approched a few critical natural disaters erupted unexpectedly and very sadly in the area we were going
and I got a bit concerned but it didn't affect our actual trip in the end.

On the 6th of October we woke up at 3:30am to catch a 8:15am plane.
Everything was smooth except we were a bit tired.
Before this big trip all three of us got through down-cycles.
Eddie had a flu with a persistent cough.
I had a little bit of neck and shoulder pain with severe tiredness.
Suze complained about her being not well several times too.
We arrived at Narita Air Port after around 9 hours' flight safely at 5pm local time which was 7 pm Sydney time.
The terminal we arrived seemed old and small.
We were waiting for Suze who was coming from Hawaii 2 hours later than us.
I sat at the busy terminal and started observing people passing in front of me with interests.
It was like you feeling free from daily duties and started feeling up being in a new environment.
We came out of the terminal into darkening night after our reunion.
It was over 30 degrees Celius that day in Tokyo.
Hot and muggy even when night fell.
I saw outside was meticulously clean and organized as I heard.
We waited for the shuttle bus to the hotel and checked in at the hotel.
Hotel was 5 minutes' away from the Terminal which was very convenient.
It was an old hotel with a long and spacious hall way between our two rooms.
I expected every Japanese hotel very tiny though.
I was amazed there was an ancient looking kettle on the table which looked a hundred years old
and I didn't know if I wanted to use it.
They wrapped water glasses with clean papers.
I found yukatas and indoor sleepers too.
I wore yukata that night as a pyjama only because I didn't want to make any washing.
There were two single beds each in our rooms and me and Suze shared a room.
We ended up having two bentos and onigiris I bought from the convenient store instead of going somewhere for dinner.
I had 2 onigiri which tasted very yummy but it made me have bad reflux that night.
My first trip to Japan.
My first expeirence of Japanese Onigiri.
