There was a book in our accomodation.
I read this book whenever possible, whenever nothing to do.
I found this phrase decribing KAUAI the most suitably in the book.
If carefree had an address, it would be here.
I totally agree with this.
If we go back another time for Hawaii it would definitely be Kauai.
It also confirmed that people at Kauai are the firendliest people in the entire country( I guess it
means the USA.) with consensus.

I slept in due to a big day yesterday and plus accumulated tiredness
which caused a severe headache for me.
Eddie set up a beautiful breakfast for us at the balcony already and woke me up.
French toast, fruits and coffees.
What an indulgent morning!
Already it was very hot and humid outside at the balcony.
Suze complained about rooster crowing early morning disturbing her sleep.
She is a sensitive and light sleeper.
Luckily I didn't have any problem with these ubliquitous existence in this cosy island.
It reminded me of fat bush turkeys wobbling around in Sydney.
These Kauai wild roosters were much less obtrusive to me.

We left for Waimea Canyon around 9:30am just like typical tourists.
We drove to west coast to arrive at Waimea town quite soon.
Compared to driving to North Coast it was much closer from Poipu.
Except for Na Pali Coast walk, it was good for us to choose our accomodation at South Coast.
First it was close from the air port.
Second it was quite easily accessible from Poipu to Waimea area where almost every day
we visited.
We drove up on the Waimea Canyon Drive and then Kokee Road after Waimea town.
On the way up I looked back from inside the car and was shocked with the view.
It was a kind of view you couldn't expect in Kauai.
This winding small road was in the middle of grass filled insanely beautiful plaines
and in the end of the road far away was too big and too blue Pacific Ocean.
It made an impressive memory for me.
We had a good familiar view just like the one I saw on the internet at Waimea Canyon Lookout
with lots of tourists but as we drove on to Kalalau Lookout and Puu O Kila Lookout
weather was a hindrance.
This was the other side of where we hiked and we never had a good chance to have a
perfect view.( We tried the next day.)
Suze wanted to show us these unforgettable views from those two lookouts but it didn't happen
to us.
Nonetheless it was an excellent relaxing and fun day for us.
We came down to Waimea town soon and bought three beautiful poke bowls from a local supermarket.
Suze said this place was selling one of the best pokes in Hawaii.
We found a perfect spot in a nearby quiet park just next to a jetty.
After poke Suze and Eddie went to buy coffees.
I was lying down on the bench looking at the sky absent-mindedly
waiting for them to return.
Feeling warm tropical breezes on my skins.
Coffees were from local supermarket as well.
Remember it's not Australia where you could get coffee easily wherever.
But we enjoyed it tremendously along with not fancy Spanish rolls they bought from there too.
It's not the quality of food that determines the level of our taste or our memory many times.
It's in your mind and it's people who you're with.
