Overland Track 2020( Part 2) Day 2 Scott Kilvert Hut to Windermere Hut We were aware of a bad weather coming so I persuaded Eddie to sleep inside the hut. It could have hit us in the middle of night. The whole day felt like 'the calm before the storm' in my mind. Scott Kilvert Hut was a small two-story more like emergency hut. There was no one when we arrived there. All hikers of the previous day left except dust and silenc.. 2020. 3. 15.
Overland Track 2020 1. PRELUDE We did "Overland Track" for the second time. From the 25th February till the 1st March 2020(5 nights 6 days). Total distance was 65km. I already knew what it was like. I also knew I would be able to make it. But still I was anxious (less than first time) about this legendary hike. Heavy tall backpack. 6 days. Harsh weather. No shower, no comfy bed ,no flush toilett ..... endless list .. 2020. 3. 8.
Natural Bridge and Spring Brook National Park Natural Bridge was exactly the same as my memory from the previous visit. Serene and beautiful. I was passing the border between NSW and Queensland when we stopped the car. From where I was standing I could grab an amazingly beautiful scene. Cows were grazing in the greenest grass of the undulating vast peaceful fields. Trees were blooming the most beautiful red flowers. Half of the flowers had .. 2020. 1. 19.
Dum Dum, Uki and Mt Warning Friday the 20th of December was my last day at work in 2019. At the end of the day I was feeling extremely exhausted with a yearly share of fatigues. Especially with this constant heat and firey hazy air torturing us more than a month nation wide. I couldn't make myself feel excited about this trip as always.
