분류 전체보기246 Sun Rise at Byron Bay We made it to Sun Rise at Cape Byron Light House once again just like we didin 2016. This time we were about one hour away by car from there!!!Luckily I woke up at 3:30 am and we were able to leave home around 4 am in the morning to make it happen. Before I got into the car I happened to look at the still dark sky and was shocked withmillions of sparkling stars as if they were falling down on me.. 2020. 1. 1. Crazy hike in Lanikai 1 We came back from Kauai to Oahu after 6 days' peaceful time. Suddenly we were thrown into a frenzy status of traffic with too many busy people. People got less friendly and more aloof. Our 5 days' home was very close to where we stayed in 2016. But a little more convenient location than before. I was amazed with my memory which was stored deep inside without realizing it. Suze was busy with he.. 2019. 9. 29. 언니 1 2019년 8월 26일 언니가 세상을 떠났다 오래전에 세상을 떠나신 시어머님은 세상을 버린다는 표현을 쓰곤 했는데 왠지 이 말이 생각이 났다 2018년 10월 5년만에 한국을 갔을때 chemo 를 받던 언니를 병원에서 본게 마지막이 되어 버렸다 금방 훌훌 털고 일어설거라는 생각이었던것 같다 무심히... 그날....월요일 지루하고 힘겹게 일상이라는 수레바퀴속에서 허덕이고 있을때 언니는 하루 종일 생명의 약한 끈과 사투를 벌이다 끝내 그날 밤을 못채우고 이 세상을 떠나버렸다 나는 그때 깨달았다 나는 너무 이기적이고 너무 못됐다고. 또 다른 시간이 없을지도 모른다는 것을 막연히 알면서도 단 한번의 방문 그리고 몇개월 후의 또 한번의 통화 그것이 내가 기울인 노력의 전부 였다 그날 밤... 언니의 이 세상 .. 2019. 9. 21.
